OHM’s fourth generation electromagnetic (EM) receivers, EFMALS III, set the industry standard for ultra sensitive, ultra low-noise electronics and precise instrument response calibration. EFMALS III receiver units are unique in offering variable receiver dipole lengths for different environmental noise conditions, as well as compact, light-weight design for ease of handling.

Amplitude and phase data from an EFMALS III receiver after brute processing are shown below, illustrating the extremely low instrument noise floor associated with these units.These data were collected using a square wave output waveform, with responses for the fundamental frequency, third harmonic, and fifth harmonic displayed.

EFMALS III receivers onboard a vessel prior to deployment. The extreme sensitivity and ultra low electronic noise floor of these units, coupled with their proven reliability and configuration flexibility, make them ideal for Controlled Source Electromagnetic Imaging (CSEMI) recording in all environments.
