2.5D Forward Modelling
2.5D Forward Modelling measures lateral variations in resistivity providing realistic geo-electric boundaries and allowing consideration of the sensitivity of edges.
This adds further layer of complexity to the model enabling understanding what effect the bathymetry will have on the data.
It can be used to verify sensitivity in presence of limited lateral extent (as defined by the client) or as a Bathymetric variation along a profile.
This module allows simple or complicated options; simple can be taking the 1d model & limiting the extents, complex can take into account bathymetry and prospect boundaries.
