Job Title:
Positions suitable for a range of experience levels are available within the Data Processing Department.
Responsible to:
Team Leader or Technical Processing Manager.
Location:
Aberdeen.
The Role includes aspects of the following, depending on seniority:
- Skilled processing, numerical modelling and interpretation of marine electromagnetic data.
- Integration of results with other geological/geophysical data.
- Delivering technical presentations both within the department and to customers as required.
- Providing project updates to the Area Geophysicists, and working with the Area Geophysicists to ensure that customer needs are met.
- Project management.
- Working in a team, and directly managing other team members
- Good career development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- All candidates are expected to have a Master’s degree in physical sciences, mathematics or engineering.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Comfortable working with computers. Previous Linux / UNIX experience beneficial.
- Experience in either seismic or CSEM data acquisition or processing beneficial.
